The Joint
Venture Skanska/Shimmick/Herzog (SSH JV), invites businesses to participate in
a FREE B2B matchmaking session for the BART Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension
Project. The Berryessa Extension consists of the design, construction, and
future operation of an approximate 10-mile extension of the BART system into
Santa Clara County. The Berryessa Extension will connect to the track south of
the BART Warm Springs Station in Fremont, and includes a retained-cut passenger
station in Milpitas (Milpitas Station) and an above-ground passenger terminus
station in San Jose (Berryessa Station). The project is approximately $772
million and is estimated to be of four year duration. We are working directly
with the SSH JV general contractor to identify prospective and qualified
subcontractors, suppliers and professional services for the following

Additionally,
we are also working with Aldridge/Rosendin Joint Venture to identify qualified
and/or certified subcontractors in the electrical trade.
We will be
hosting a B2B matchmaking event for subcontracting opportunities on Thursday
February 7 from 3.30 - 6.30pm in Downtown San Jose, where you will have the
opportunity to meet the project managers and buyers from the SSH JV and
Aldridge/Rosendin JV for a one-on-one B2B session for the prospective trades.
There will also be a DBE and SBE (VTA) certification workshop, and bonding and
financial assistance sessions to help qualified firms prepared for contracting
opportunities. There is no charge to attend this event, and light refreshment
will be provided. However, due to the expected large participation, the session
will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you would like to
