On Top Priorities

Candidates are asked to state a top priority (if elected) they will work on:

Mario Juarez: Wants to work with the schools and improve education.

Shelly Garza: says that her “top priority is public safety”. Cites private security and keys to safe streets that will then lead to positive economic development.

Noel Gallo: supports cease fire and curfews, and more police officers on the street.  Gallo also wants to work on ‘citizenship’ with Oakland public school kids.

Dawn McMahan: Wants in “encourage innovative thinking” for developing community based solutions.
