On the Permitting Process

Miller-Cole says that “communication with the neighbors” is key to making harmonious development. Lynette Gibson McElhaney cites her experience as a low income housing developer saying the “delays are costly,” she cites that there should be “no abuse of city council review process” and further states that the “appeal [process] should be the exception not the rule”. Sullivan calls for a “small business commission” to help the city draft effective regulations.
