De La Fuente mentions that this is “one of the most

Anderson-Downs says “pensions don’t make sense when we are closing
schools” and she “couldn’t vote for it.” Lee Tolbert says that its “an
obligation” and we “must fund it” but have to do that with “real dollars” and “won’t
be an easy problem to solve.” Kaplan points to her motion from the last council
term that would allow for the “liabilities to become funded.”
